The employees of Irvin Technical Publications have over 40 years of Technical Writing experience. Since 1988, the staff of Irvin Technical Publications Incorporated, has performed a Publications Management Service contract on over 300 Aviation Life Support Equipment (ALSE) Canadian Forces Technical Orders (CFTOs) for the Canadian Forces.

Irvin Technical Publications has produced several interactive electronic catalogues for various entities within the Department of National Defence (DND) including:

Director of Air Requirements: Scales of Issue.
Directorate Aerospace Engineering Support: ALSE, Survival Equipment.

Publications Management

Irvin Technical Publications provides a Publications Management Service. Through this program Irvin can coordinate with relevant personnel, review all Field Service Bulletins, Engineering/ Drawing Change Orders, Original Equipment Manufacturer's (source) data, Technical Specifications, Wiring Lists, and Check Lists to ensure that all existing documentation is complete, current, and accurate.

Irvin can suggest the changes/revisions required to update the full documentation package, schedule the changes/revisions and then perform the change/revision service. Furthermore, we can provide a complete Technical Writing Service from Configuration Audit to a customer approved Technical Manual in compliance to customer specifications.

Technical Manuals

Irvin Technical Publications has the ability to create technical manuals or provide a change and/or revision service for existing technical manuals. Our Technical Writers can work on site with your Technicians, Engineers, and Field Service representatives. In addition, our Technical Writers have the ability to work from Engineering Drawings, Field Service Bulletins (FSBs) and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs). The technical capability of our Technical Writers will enable your staff to spend less time on explaining every nuance of every change and therefore spend more time on your products utilizing their area of expertise.
