PRODUCTION FACILITY

Airborne Systems Canada's Production Department is environmentally controlled and equipped with more than 250 sewing machines, which are capable of efficiently stitching the latest natural and man-made fabrics, tapes and webbings, including coated fabrics, ceramics and Kevlar. Added to this are quality control test machines, computerized cloth laying and cutting tables, grommet and eyelet machines, and jigs and fixtures which enable the company to produce highly dependable and durable life support equipment.

GDA-5K

Additionally, Airborne Systems Canada is equipped with modern environment test chambers, jigs, fixtures and inspection equipment to accommodate the assembly, inspection and customer servicing of the Irvin automatic parachute devices such as the FF-2 and the GD-500/GDA-5K.
